Irish  Journal  of Legal Studies

For contributors

The IJLS welcomes the submission of original articles, review articles, book reviews, notes and comments, on any area of law. We invite commentary or discussion in any form. If in doubt, feel free to discuss any intended contribution with any of our editors.

All pieces are considered for publication on the understanding that they are original, unpublished material and have not been submitted for publication elsewhere. If the piece is already published elsewhere, you should say so when you submit it to us.

Articles of substantial length are subject to peer review. Shorter articles, notes, reviews etc. may be peer reviewed at editors’ discretion. We suggest that full-length articles could be 8,000-10,000 words, shorter articles 4,000-6,000 words, and notes and reviews 3,000 words or less.

Online publication will be in a consistent style, using PDF format.

Copyright in published pieces will remain in their author(s).
